Anna Demidova is a Lisbon based ceramic artist whose work explores the dialogue between texture, form, and light. Her practice is rooted in a deep appreciation for organic surfaces. With a background in interior design and photography Anna approaches ceramics as a space where art, craftsmanship, and design merge.
Anna draws inspiration from the meeting of land and sea, and the tension between structure and fluidity. She captures the movement and softness of water in solid form, translates into a collection of lamps, vases, and sculptural objects that blur the line between function and artistic expression.
